The Coalcracker Kid Bushcraft Course is designed to help children ages 612 gain confidence, learn essential survival techniques, and enjoy hands-on outdoor funall while creating unforgettable memories alongside a parent or guardian.

Every child takes home a folding knife, a handmade survival bracelet, and a signed copy of Dan Wowak’s book Bushcraft Kid.

Whether your child is brand new to wilderness exploration or already loves venturing outside, this experience provides a supportive and engaging introduction to bushcraft.

Participants must bring the following items to the course.

Per Team (Youth + Adult):

• 100′ Paracord
• Fixed Blade Knife
• 1100% Cotton Terry Cloth Washcloth
• Tin Container for Char (Altoids tin recommended)
• UCO Stormproof Matches
• Notepad and Pencil/Pen

Per Person:

• Sleeping Bag or Wool Blankets
• 810 Poly Tarp (This is the MAXIMUM size permitted, no larger than 8×10)
• Cup & Spoon
• Headlamp with Spare Batteries
• Backpack for personal gear
• Appropriate clothing and hygiene essentials
• Plastic Tent Pegs (Quantity 4)
