Genuine micro casa piston seals suitable for all Elektra micro casa lever coffee machines regardless of production date. Elektra micro casa Piston rings help maintain the pressurized water during coffee extraction. Note: These seals guarantee consistent and flavorful shots every time.

When should I replace the piston rings?

• If you notice during extracting coffee water is dripping out of the back end of the group head – Piston chamber, then it’s definitely time to replace your piston gaskets.
• Generally between 2-3 years maximum of regular usage, providing the unit isn’t left excessively. NB: We have had on the rare occasion clients needing a piston service after 12 months.

Note: The micro casa piston seals are not identical, there’s two types, a ‘V’ & ‘W’ and they’re sold as a set pair. Refer to image above. The ‘V’ type must be positioned on the topside of the piston and the ‘W’ type at the bottom end of the piston. If your servicing the piston, you must replace both ‘V’ & ‘W’ piston seals, along with the group seal and it is advisable to also replace the group to boiler seal.
