The Mythos 2 is able to dose ground coffee with extreme accuracy by its actual weight, using ourgravimetricsystem, ensuring consistent density. This means the dose remains unchanged even if you change the granulometry setting (grind).

The updatedClima Pro 2.0system now allows the barista to adjust the burr temperatures, thus expanding barista’s range of choice. In addition to keeping the temperature consistent in the in grinding chamber the Mythos 2 is now more stable, reducing unwanted fluctuations of temperature, leading to more efficient workplace.

Lastly the Mythos 2 now has avariable speed motorwhich is able modulate productivity according to the barista’s needs and allows for more accurate dosing.

Mythos II Gravimetric Features

Gravimetric Controlled DosingThe Mythos II introduces gravimetric dosing. This means the grinder doses the ground coffee by weight in real time. Eliminating the need for a scale and reducing coffee waste.This feature can also be turned off via the setting to dose using time.

Variable Speed MotorThe Mythos Grav and Premium now come standard with a variable speed motor. Allowing the barista to pull shots slower or quicker depending on the workflow. We have also noticed a number of impacts made to espresso itself depending on grinder speed.

Temperature Controlled BurrsThe Mythos II comes standard with both a heating a cooling system similar to the Mythos One/Clima Pro. However it also introduces user temperature control. Allowing the barsita to change the parameters to best suit their coffee. The cooling system has also been centralized to the back of the unit to allow many units to be placed near each other.

Titanium Burrs 85mmThis grinder comes standard with Titanium Burrs which last 2x as long as normal burrs. Allowing the ability to grind up to 3500 pounds of coffee before requiring replacement.

LED Illuminated Work SpaceLEDs around the grinder light the work space, giving the barista full visibility of the grinds even in a dark room.

Micrometric Grind AdjustmentWith Micrometric grind adjustment the barista can adjust the grind to the smallest of adjustments at any point in the process of grinding.

Clump Crusher TechThis technology insures that ever dose is clump free and delivers that fluffy evenly distributed coffee.

Multi-Function Touch DisplayUsing this touch display the barista can adjust the dose, put the grinder into a number of barista modes, and lock the grinder so the settings can’t be changed.

Portafilter HolderThis grinder is capable of holding the portafilter while it is dosing, meaning that the barista can operate other equipment during the grinding process.
