This fair trade, organic, shade-grown coffee is an equal-parts blend of our “natural water process” full-bodied decaf Full City Roast coffee combined with our regular Full City Roast coffees. With half the caffeine, but all of the flavor, this coffee can stand up to any of our fully-caffeinated coffees in taste.

Available in a variety of grind options.

Aroma: Nutty, caramel, corn
Body: Light-to-medium
Flavor: Sweet, nutty, maple
Acidity: Medium
Roast Level: Full City

Grind Types

Whole Bean– While we are happy to grind your beans, your coffee will stay fresher longer if you grind it as you go. There are many great home grinder options out there and many are surprisingly inexpensive.

Drip– This is a medium grind that is the most versatile. Brewing methods using drip include home coffee drip machines, pour-overs (like Hario), Chemex, and AeroPress.

Espresso– This grind is generally used for espresso makers. This includes home machines and stove-tip espresso pots. The grind is the most fine and is optimized to work with a high pressure extraction system.

Coarse– Coarse is for percolators, french press, cold brewing, and sometimes AeroPress. Coarse is the biggest/loosest grind and enables water to move more freely steeping coffee for extraction.

    I have tried several decaf coffees from various companies and didn’t like them. This half caff is great. It is strong enough and has good taste without the bitterness that I found in the others I have tried.

    I needed a half caff coffee for my first French press. Hard to find on the shelves. I was very impressed with Campesino’s half caff, which is ground specifically for the French press. I would definitely order again!
